Mission Statement

The Mission of Wauchula Elementary School is to provide our children equal educational opportunities and to inspire our students to become life long learners while in a safe environment.

About the School

Wauchula Elementary
Welcome to Wauchula Elementary School!  The students, staff and parents at WES have great pride in our school.  Students are motivated, cooperative, and positive about school.  Our faculty is made up of dedicated, highly qualified professionals who are passionate about providing a high standard of education for all students.  Together, the administration, teachers and staff strive to create a child-friendly atmosphere in which our students can thrive.  A safe and orderly environment is an established priority.  Our Parent Teacher Association and School Advisory Council also play an active role in the helping to move our school forward.

WES, a quaint and well-maintained red brick facility, is located in the heart of Hardee County.  Our school family takes great pride in these facilities.  Improvements to our technology systems are a strong focus for this administration.  Technological upgrades are ongoing. Interactive whiteboards and tablets are used throughout our school.

The school leadership team has developed a school improvement plan that involves all aspects of the school.  We maintain high expectations for all students, and believe that all children can learn.  We seek to ensure that pre-kindergarten through fifth grade boys and girls develop the educational skills necessary to become responsible, productive citizens.

At Wauchula Elementary School, we don't count the days, we make the days count!  Step inside and check out the great things happening at WES!
